1. Its not hurting anybody, its just a fucking video game.

2. Don't like it? Don't buy it, don't even play it. Don't even watch me stream it. Its that simple. Making a whole video about it and games like it where "women are sex objects" is just stupid.

I doubt she ever researched what half of all those games are about. Lucy's character is intentionally a grimy whore, and Tara Strong agreed to voice her and Charity.

She even had some footage in one of her videos I saw where in Grabbed By the Ghoules you have to fight your GF for turning into a monster and clearly that's considered a bad thing. She talked shit on that.

She clearly has never played that game even and just likes to talk shit about it, and as far as GBTG goes, you don't have a choice on that matter. You need to defend yourself on that part.

Also, to talk about the video, I don't understand why sexualisation is the only thing that's picked on is so bad. The same way GTA doesn't make me a violent criminal/drug trafficker/bank robber, a sexualised character on a game (thinking of its counterpart, Saints Row) is not going to change how I treat women in real life. I think games should have characters that aren't sexualised or overtly sterotyped if there's a choice in-game, but that's really the only issue I see; under-representation of compelling female characters and an over-representation of sexualised ones. Why not both?

I think we can all recognise it's bad in some form (so are bullshit justifications for it to in the hope feminists ignore it, and is generally just bad storytelling for the game), but acting like this shit in games can translate into real life doesn't seem fair to me, just as the "violent games make violent people" myth tries to spread.
