Didn't this already happen months ago

Disney seems pretty content with letting Star Wars in gaming go right down the shitter. I wouldn't expect them to allow players a great gaming experience like a remastered KOTOR for free when they are pretty adamant about letting EA have the exclusive rights to do anything Star Wars related in gaming where they can aggressively monetize it.

I remember reading that Disney is actually quite unhappy with the way EA is monetising Star Wars at the moment.

Well I had heard that they were pretty content with EA continuing to have exclusive rights to make Star Wars games. Maybe they're trying to force EA to alter their methods when it comes to Star Wars, but at this point I'd be planning to drop them like a hot coal at the next opportunity, assuming they are still bound by a contract for now.
