I was watching Knack cutscenes and thought that Knack's voice sounded oddly familiar.
So I took a look at IMDB and I found out this piece of information:

So basically...

KNACK = SPARTAN LOCKE

Halo and Knack are set in the same universe, baby. It's fucking confirmed.
