Just finished FF6

Man, that was a good game. I tried to ignore the universal praise it was getting and wanted to experience it for myself.

Took me about 79 hours to beat, after getting my ass whooped by Kefka twice the first time around I went back to the Dinosaur Forest for ages to train myself up to return and get my sweet revenge. I somehow managed to do it, despite my main player Terra getting one shotted right before his final form. Gotta say, I really liked the cast of the game and Kefka was such a horrific cunt I really felt driven to utterly crush him at the end.

So far out of the main series I've played, it's
6>10>7>15

Weebshit aside, did you like 6?

I didn't think VI was all that weebshit TBH, sure it has the typical "gang of kids use the power of friendship to kill God" trope but other than that it seemed pretty western, or at least had a western PoV of Eastern themes.

Are you going to play V?

I liked 6 with how they handled Terra and her finding her humanity, along with Celeste and Locke's romance thing going on, along with his past in general. Seeing the world go to shit was also pretty depressing and captured it all perfectly. They fought Kefka not to save the world, because the world was already destroyed. It was more so out of revenge to finally put an end to his madness, but the damage was already done.

Might I recommend 4 now? The remake, not the original. If you get it on steam the frame rate isn't grand, but you'd get used to it. It's an amazing game though. Really you could make a case that any game from 1-10 (minus 2) is worth playing.
