It may be because I'm removed from this game for a long time

but I like how people are going "IT LOOKS THE SAME!"

Well no shit, I mean it did nail the core mechanics to a tee, and that was always the one strength the game had amongst the shitty storytelling and mission structure it initially shipped with. They're not going to fundamentally change gameplay, nor are they going to make a new engine and revamp the look of it (personally I love the aesthetic. It's classy Bungie and something that makes me happy after 343 fucked up Halo's look).

It might be because of the gameplay features itself not being able to justify $60, but so far I've not really seen it lacking in that regard as well. Most I've heard is complained about is the suspected only 1 raid, which IS a bit of a letdown. I personally think it should have been 2 or 3.

For a game people like to say it's an MMO (it's not, but whatever), they should look to see exactly how MMO's work in the regards of their complaints.

The problem is that they expected people to play Destiny for three fucking years straight doing the same thing over and over again

Now when they're suppose to put out a new iteration and it's the same thing, people definitely have the right to be complaining

Destniy is like that cancer trash mobile game where you have daily 'energy' and if you want to get shit done, you have to pay real cash. It plays on the human addictive psyche and exploits it. It rewards you just enough to keep you coming back for more.
I went through the same grind in Defiance - but unlike (((Destiny))), Defiance is a F2P game with an actual story and characters. After a while, I got tired of it and just kept playing for achievements. They were relatively easy to get and some of them were even fun - until came the PVP achievements - FUCK the pvp in Defiance.

The Cabal are bad. Their sole mission is to expand and conquer. They've been fleeing "something" though. The Eliksni(Fallen) are just scavengers now. They had the Traveler a long time ago but then the Darkness destroyed their world. And of course the Hive are bad. They're slaves to the Darkness and have been wiping out entire species for billions of years.

The Cabal didn't do a single bad thing in the game though. They occupied Mars -- after it was deserted by humans -- and all we did as players was hang out and murder them in their homes. Then they attacked the Taken dreadnought to stop the Hive, and we killed them too. Grimoire cards don't count for anything; in the game, there's zero reason for killing them. The guardians are the antagonists against a species hellbent on stopping the Hive and Vex.

It's speculated they've fled from Oryx. So that could be why they crashed into his ship. They want to learn about Vex Technology and have been wanting to attack us but never did because Guardians don't die. The Cabal Scouting party(which is all they were on Mars) sent a distress signal so now The Empire sent combat units and they figured out a way to defeat us. And they want our power. I get what you're saying though.

Vicarious Visions is developing it. It will only be on the Blizzard App(Battle.net) and they're not committed to releasing it alongside PS4/X1 yet.

Honestly 2 could have the exact same game mechanics and gunplay as the first, and as long as it had the amount of content and the in depth story 1 should've had at launch, then I'd be perfectly satisfied with it.

Of course, I don't exactly expect that to be the case.
