Is the Spartan 4 program the "true" spartan program?

Spartan IVs act like cocky college kids, I hate it.

Spartan IIs and Spartan IIIs true Spartans.

It's almost shameful for them to be called Spartans.
How is it?

The way they conduct themselves. You don't see The Master Chief giving people high-fives and bragging over a victory.

He is professional at all times.
So like how the Military is? Nothing wrong with that. They're professional on the battlefield and that's all that matters.
Chief is an indoctrinated sociopath who's known nothing but fighting and following orders. He's never actually had a life.
But why can't I have my Spartan be a professional instead of a fucking retard?

343i is going after immersion after all, which is stupid seeing as they should be focusing on how to make gameplay fun and not how we can feel like Spartans.
S-IV's are professionals. To say otherwise is dumb.
Just because they're not emotionless bricks doesn't mean they're not professionals.
Why can't my Spartan be an emotionless bitch?
Because this isn't Bungie and their poorly written characters.

I liked the contrast between S-IVs and S-IIs. S-IVs have real character since they are not sociopaths like the S-IIs were and act as regulars soldiers even if they're not. Makes them more likeable...except for Palmer. She was annoying. We need more Thornes.

the one true God is Doctor Doom and we should all be worshiping him.
In terms of individual results, SPARTAN-II was, without question, the greatest success. A single II is superior to a single III or IV.

It's just that individual results are irrelevant when the intended result is a superior breed of soldier in general, not just a little over two dozen (or a superior sailor, actually, since they're navy). In that regard, SPARTAN-III and SPARTAN-IV are, indeed, both more practical, numerous, safe, and cost-efficient than SPARTAN-II. They had the greater general result than their predecessor.

...But don't tell that to the fanboys that get caught up over the whole 'b-but if you had a II fight a IV they'd win!' thing. Yes, but that isn't the point. That's so far from the point it's laughable.

His eyebrows sparkling, his white beard hangs down to his chest. The thatched mats, spread outside his chise, spread softly, his splendid attos. He polishes, cross-legged, his makiri, with his eyes completely absorbed.

He is Ainu.

The god of Ainu Mosir, Ae-Oine Kamuy, descendant of Okiku-Rumi, He perishes, a living corpse. The summers day, the white sunlight, unabrushed, ends simply through his breath alone.

Best way to explain it:

A Spartan II is equal to a platoon of Marines.
Let's assume (based on vague statements since there's no exact figure) that a Spartan II is four times as powerful than a Spartan IV.
Which is the better deal: a Spartan II or a platoon of Spartan IVs?

Training:
S-II's = S-III's > S-IV's

Armour:
S-IV's > S-II's > S-III's

Quality:
S-II's = S-III's > S-IV's

Quantity:
S-IV's > S-III's > S-II's

Augmentations:
S-IV's > S-III's > S-II's

I'd take S-IV's over any others just because of power in numbers.
