Is it just me or is Mass Effect 3 disturbingly short on dialouge options?

I finally got around to starting the game for real after finishing Mass Effect 2 the other day and already it feels like this game has less dialogue and role playing than even Black Ops 2. Am I just imagining this?

I dont know, It feels like in this one Shep talks on his own for long stretches of time before you get a chance to actualy chose dialogue or even do interrupts.

I'm a little past Palavin right now and the dialouge still seems light compared to ME2

On a related note that last mission makes me kinda wanna romance Jack instead of Tali when I finaly do get to do a full trilogy playthrough.

Yeah, it has way less dialogue options than ME1 and 2 combined I think.

In ME1 and 2, you can have a conversation with any of your squad members whenever when you're on the Normandy. In ME3 they just say "Hey Shepard" when you want to talk to them.

Yeah, and it deserved to be discounted. Other than Javick, some extra weapons and some multiplayer maps which are built in there is no other DLC (No Citadel or Omega) Plus you are forced to start less than optimaly due to having to use Genesis instead of actual save files. Meaning:

-Mealon's research destroyed
-Conrade Verner dead
-No Jack romance

and alot more stuff

Oh and there is no way for a perfect suicide mission you have to chose between Kelly, Gabby and Ken or 3 of your most important teammates going forward. (Legion, Jack and Thane)
You literaly chose between peace betweeen the Geth and Quarians or the Fish woman, who does not even have the fish with this start.

Galactic readiness is at 50% by default and the only way to raise it in through Multiplayer, and between the game's age, Nintendo's servers, my internet situation, and being on Wii U, I don't see how it's happening.
