I mean M&B definetely looks interesting but I'm not in any rush to kill it. Honestly I was expecting it to be one of those RTS games that people here have raging superboners for.

Honestly, the only amount of fun I've had in Mount and Blade: Warband was from the viking DLC for it, which as I recall was just a mod that got supported by the developers.
