I overheard some people saying they won't buy the MCC because it runs at 60fps. One said that 60fps is stupid because Halo is supposed to be at 30fps and at 60fps it will make the game too fast like call of duty. That can be true for some movies, though. Movies from around 2000 with CGI effects can look more aged in HD, as you then can see how low in detail the CGI is compared to the live-action.

That is of course not applicable to games though, as the level of detail is even.
