halo needed to get a little faster tbh. reach and h4 went about it all wrong but they removed loadout systems and killstreaks for h5 so i think this is a step forward.

Killstreaks are still there but instead of dropping in front of your feet you just spawn with any power weapon or vehicle

warzone isnt gonna be a competitive mode so i dont really consider its version of the scorestreaks to be a full implementation

I never insinuated that you were buying Halo 5. I was talking about people who admit they will buy Halo 5. What other reason would they buy Halo 5, if not for the story?

the beta showed a marked improvement over h4's multiplayer. reach's too. most of the people i know from the competitive community are buying it for that reason

well at least we have verifiable proof of improvement on that front. besides all that, i know for a fact that 343 liaisons are working closely with esports industry insiders to help make sure we get what we want. i dont think its smart to plan on buying any game before its released but i understand why a good player might get excited after the beta. what proof do we have that h5's story is going to be any better than h4?

We don't have proof of that. But it's a reasonable assumption to make, that Halo 5 will be close to or better than Halo 4. I know it will at least be better than anything Bungie produced.

Halo 4's story wasn't good, but it was better than anything that preceded it.

Yes and for one reason only

Halo 5's story looks great. The buildup we've been getting in the past couple years in the EU is really doing a good job of setting the scene, so to speak.

Halo 5's story is looking to be the best one yet, undoubtedly. Might even beat ODST and Halo 4 for best one.
