I won't be playing it till Friday, I'm anti digital download so I ordered it on amazon (local places didn't carry it for some bizzare reason)

What's his relationship with the Elder Scrolls franchise?

he's only played oblivion and skyrim. Only other mmo he's played is the major Star Wars one who's name has slipped my mind...

I guess I mean to say "how fair is he with assessing this franchise, do you think?"

I don't have a next gen console. I've been thinking about one but nothing gave me incentive to get one until Bethesda announced Fallout 4. It also looks like Dark Souls III could be announced (and I haven't even played Bloodborne yet). Originally I was going to give up gaming progressively and replace it with more productive things, but I just replace games with worse things, so...

bloodborne is really great. I actually just got to the last boss today...

And I've never really talked to him about elder scrolls much until now. Apparently he "loves" the franchise and I was wrong, he's played morrowind as well

BTW, you should be playing FFXIV. I have about 95 quests left till I'm done with the main story. (FINALLY!)

I just finished nearly all vanilla content. Now I have 5 patches of content to go through. That's 100 more quests or so, just main story ones. 6 raids, and maybe 3 or 4 dungeons, plus hard mode dungeons and other stuff. I just need to finish the rest of the story before the 19th. I hope I can do it.

I played the week long free trial and didn't love it. Especially not enough to justify the sub fee.

What? Impossible! I guess it's just not for everyone, but I don't see how someone can enjoy such low quality MMOs like NeverWinter or ESO, but not enjoy other MMOs like FF, WoW, or GW.

I think a large part of it is just friends. I didn't have anyone to play final fantasy with so it was quite boring running around killing squirrels and ladybugs. I would NEVER have bought eso if my 2 best friends hadn't bought it first and asked me to. Im also not a huge fan of the jrpg art style. I recognize that it's a deep good game with some pretty awesome aspects but it just wasn't for me, ya know?

I just checked my sub. It expired 2 days ago.

I was only 40 quests away from completing the story, and I don't have enough money to resub. Fuck though Heavensward looks so good.

I may get it if people are still playing by the time I'm able to get it.
