Finally gonna crack down and build one this Christmas. Been slowly building up my steam library for 4+ years now, I think it's about time I actually get a decent computer. List includes the build and a couple peripherals that I need.

This is actually a bit above what I can spend, but Black Friday/cyber Monday should chop off some of that price. If I need to, is buying second hand a bad idea?
Didn't put Windows on the list because I've heard of some ways to get it for cheap. If I buy a download off r/microsoftsoftwareswap can I put it on a USB stick and install it on to the computer? Or would that only work if I already had an OS?
Are the stock fans good enough for now, or should I buy some extras?

Should probably add that I'm not going to be doing anything too demanding:
-Day to day web browsing
-Gaming: Source engine games, unreal tournament 4, Guild Wars 2, overwatch (when it releases), various other games; nothing that will start a fire.
-A little bit of video editing (nothing too serious
-Extreme porn

Is it worth the $$$ to get the 4gb if I'm only going to be playing @ 1080p?

If you want to play with high resolution textures then yes

Yeah just looked up some comparisons and it looks like games are just starting to take advantage of the 4gb. Will change that.
