Short of a message going out to players at the beginning of the game saying "Hey, to experience the shortest wait times and highest population of players, stop leveling at 120.", which would still be a half-assed approach to this, as far as I'm concerned, it's an oversight.

It doesn't ruin anything it just isn't what MOST people online choose to do. Freedom of choice in a roll playing game isn't a bad thing. Not to mention There's still thousands of people pvping above 120.

i like the fact that you can be a tank with maxed stats in offline mode, especially since it takes a helluva lot of work

but when you go into pvp, make it limited. they already limit your estus recovery, just extend that to your other stats...
