So catching someone with Corrin's D-Air offstage will only get yourself killed. The opponent can jump out of it while you can't recover. Cant even Kamikaze and take them down with you.

That fuckin stinks

Huh?
Bayonetta is pretty fun so far. She has a fair amount of start up lag on some of her Smash attacks though.

Who the fuck is Corrin

Main character of Fire Emblem: Fates. The next entry in a long running and very good turn based strategy RPG franchise. It's lately drawn a lot of hate from people who don't actually know anything about it because of hearsay, but the thing that seems to be focused on by said people is the fact that you can build relationships between characters to increase their stats when paired together and uncover more about their personal lives and histories through support conversations that take place outside of battles. Some entries allow characters to marry and have children to produce a second generation of protagonists.

Unlike other turn based RPGs (like say XCOM) each unit is an actual character with an actual story. This means the player gets attached to them and it gives them an incentive to try and keep them alive as permadeath is a thing for nearly every unit unless you're playing on something like casual mode (which was introduced in later installments).

Other than Bayonetta's smash attacks and witch time I think Corrin will be more trouble. But they aren't as bad as I thought they'd be. I can see Bayonetta spiking people with her down smash while people recover since it can reach a good distance over the ledge.

Give people time to really learn the characters and we'll see how troublesome they are.

And watch--they're still gonna suck anyway.



I caved in and bought Bayonetta <_< Just for the sake of 100% completion.

And, honestly, having her in this game really isn't that big of a deal.

Still shouldn't have been added, though.

Corrin is sorta fun, I guess. I love his side+b. Looks like he can do some pretty tricky stuff.

He kinda reminds me of Serph from SMT:DDS with the way he transforms.

Bayonetta is too fucking weird to even comment on. I might learn her just because it would be funny if she ended up being the perfect character for me.

I honestly belive once people reach Batonetta's full potential that she's going to be at least borderline game breaking, essentially Brawl Meta Knight with a skill-gap.
