Reach, 2, 3 and 4 always keep a plasma pistol handy.

In Reach Noble Team are the greatest bullet sponges of all time so use them

In 5 it's plasma pistol for covies and boltshots for promethas. First few Wardens die easy from elevation and incineration cannons, the doubles can be cheeses with the Scorpion, and the last 3 can be skipped.

Suppressor is pretty good for dealing with Prometheans in Halo 5 & try to keep the team alive since they can revive you pretty well if you stick with them

Basically just cheese the fuck out of everything because Bungie's version of difficulty scaling is unfun to play on. Be prepared to skip entire areas full of enemies to avoid dying many times tbh.

It's really hard to do, but if you can get the early banshee in Assault of the Control room you can cut about 40 minutes off the level. In Halo 2 you're basically a wet paper bag and I used speedrun techs to play through the whole campaign because fuck the gameplay vs enemies. Halo 3's legendary is actually pretty easy. The flood in particular don't seem any more difficult than on Normal mode, aside from the increase in Ranged forms.

You guys remember when legendary in CE was actually a hard difficultly? After that game every Bungie Halo had it set up where you did shit for damage, you have shit for health, but the enemies on the other hand where max rank, their damage output was extremely OP and they where bullet sponges.

The golden rule for dealing with Flood

Shoot the spore's 'centre' not the corpses head, for max damage. Oh and destroy the corpse.

Also Halo 1's flashlight temporarily stuns elite flood forms.

Look up speedruns of CE and 2. It makes life way easier, because they teach you how to skip chunks of each mission.

They just disguised it by having Elites spam strafe when you even thought about looking in their direction.

I am still on this mission Halo from CE and I FUCKED MYSELF SO MUCH.

I was able to skip a part of the mission by ditching my gunner and killing the marines in the area. But now I don't have a gunner and didn't kill all the elites in the next area in time and now I have 5+ elites rushing me with 3 Jackals and 4 Grunts.
Fuck my life.

CE and Halo 2 are relatively the same in terms of difficulty but I personally think CE is the hardest Halo on Legendary.

Jackal Snipers in Halo 2 aren't that bad unless you know where they all spawn. Sometimes they will spawn in different locations and there's this one spot in Metropolis where an infinite number of them will appear unless you progress forward.

reset fam, it's honestly easier to do it the long way and have a human shield /gunner personally.
