Honestly I thought the trailers were really meh. Chief still won't shut up. I thought I'd get used to MC being a more talkative character after Halo 4 but I just can't. And Locke's voice acting is still garbage. To top it all of the ad looks super budget. That said though the Audio Podcast seems really interesting.

I'm going to be disappointed if the story turns out to be too politically focused. Some "villain" at ONI that wants to take over the entire UNSC, sends Locke to assassinate the remaining Spartan IIs and Halsey, sets up Chief in the process, ONI wanting the Spartan IVs to replace them, etc... if it doesn't even mention the larger forces threatening the galaxy like the Flood and Precursors than I will be upset. What if it's just Locke teaming up with Arbiter on Sanghelios to take out Covie remnants, and Chief fighting Jul's Storm and Prometheans? What I'm trying to say is I want the Flood to return or something new even. However, I have a feeling that this game will only focus on "the truth", and we'll have to wait even longer for our galactic space opera. Just my two cents.

I feel like Chief will do anything to get Cortana back. The ending of Halo 4 shows his humanity. He'll probably meet Halsey with Jul's help (she's obviously manipulating Jul) and the UNSC sees him teamed up the the baddies.
