How is Mewtwo on Smash 4?

Gotta wait 2 weeks to buy him. Watched a few videos, he doesn't seem that strong. Looks pretty agile, but not a big hitter.

There are DLC characters. You can get Mewtwo for 'free' if you purchased the game on both WiiU and 3DS and registered the codes, otherwise you have to buy him.

Lucas is also going to be a DLC character, released in June.
Only two characters so far.

Well, his Down B is better since you can land a half to fully charged Smash at higher percents, Side B is bit better now that it reflects projectiles, and Up Smash is very strong and kills relatively early. Also, be careful about using Shadow Ball (which is very strong too) in the air because you will get blasted opposite the area you're facing.

That's not too bad, I guess. Kinda lame to make a classic character paid DLC, but it doesn't seem like the prices for the upcoming characters are very high.

I hate games with DLC. I have never once bought a single DLC in my life, and it's bullshit. In my opinion, it's worse than P2W.
I enjoy games for their story, and basically DLC makes you pay more to finish up the story. I hate it with a fiery passion.

Except in this case this is a game with zero story and this DLC enhances the game variety for both purchasers and non-purchasers, by either having another fully fledged character in the roster to choose from or the chance to encounter said character in a fight.

To be frank though; your hate for DLC is irrational and grounded on bad reasoning.

well, to answer the god damn question unlike some people...

Mewtwo is like he was in melee, but he hits harder, has a lot more momentum cancelling with his moves, and his side b is just as great as before, now the projectiles he reflects maintain their hitboxes. his forward throw is actually useful now rather than the attack doing 3 damage due to the tiny hitbox of the attack, and he handles just as well as before. if you want to customize the character with equipment, don't make him faster, you'll have a bad time.

It's a fighting game, no story. The characters are the entire game, adding even one character adds a lot to the game, a new character to play as, and new character to play against.
