It's all about reflexes and tactical choices. Sometimes you just get fucked by walking into the wrong hallway or throwing a frag when you should've thrown a flashbang. Shit like that. You just have to think fast and act fast.
What FPS, in particular?I noticed a considerable difference at Halo when I:1: switched to Bumper Jumper (not having to take your thumb off the right stick to jump makes a pretty big difference)2: practiced my aim and strafing by playing modes like Octagon3: played with people who are/were better than meAt other games, I normally get better by watching how other people play, and compare it to myself. Generally speaking, you're going to be really good if you're not a predictable player. In games like Battlefield, this pretty talented guy called LevelCap talks about how his reaction time and aim aren't top notch, but he's very good at moving in ways that people wouldn't expect.
it's really bugging me, i used to be great. always at the top of leader boards with little deaths and high amount of kills. now im fucking useless.
