Yeah same, I thought it looked dope from the beginning.

Though the only two "naysayers" towards this game I've ever seen are Yutaka and LC, who are both shit taste losers, so who cares.

Reserving judgement until release. Nothing out that would keep me from buying the game, but not enough to persuade me to buy it.

User scores there are cancer. Get the fuck out of here with that shit. It's one thing to not care for a game, maybe because you're not a fan of the genre for example, but when a game is getting reviews like this, more than likely... It's good. I heard some of the sidequests were just kinda eh. But the main story is really good. And there's lots of extra stuff for you to dig up and find instead of having it handed to you. Also the ending, it at least a point halfway in the game is pretty cool. Like why there's robots and how the world fell is an amazing revelation. Good to here GG came up with something good. Also. The combat is being praised all over. It feels good, it's smooth, it's tactical, and it's fun. I see nothing not to like.

Also keep in mind the Metascore weights their reviews. Any smaller critics that give it a less than stellar review (USGamer gave it a 5 iirc) will barely dent the critic score.

Not to say it'll be bad, but I'm cautious about overwhelming praise and overwhelming negativity. Happens too often, so it means less.

I'm suddenly more excited about this game. I'm glad it's getting good reviews. Pretty much the whole development cycle I've been very cautious in my hype, almost to the point where I considered passing on it.
