Is there something wrong with me?

I don't know what it is. A few months ago I traded in my copy of Destiny for a copy of Farcry 4, now while I enjoy this game... I really don't know what it is, Like I have that urge. I have to do the raid and... and level up my character and play some crucible. OH GOD I'M SUFFERING FROM DESTINY WITHDRAWAL SOMEONE HELP ME.

Someone help me, I'm getting really tempted to go into my local games store and pick up a copy of Destiny again but I know I'm going to get disappointed again. I don't know what to do. I NEED THOSE EXOTICS MAN.

It's a common factor of solid/good gameplay, compared to shit/lacking story/content.

It goes to show gameplay really is the most important thing.

Not that I'm defending the brutal gutting Destiny got before release or anything.

I guess. It's more of the fact that I'm not really enjoying anything to play lately and Destiny was the only game recently that I would play regularly even though every time I did I just scoffed at everything I saw. If Halo 5 would just come out already that'd be great.

Psy already touched on it, but Destiny is a skinner box. It's designed to make you want to play it even if you think it's terrible. The hope is that you'll give into the urge and buy some different tasting pellets (DLC) while they keep you on that treadmill.

The exact same thing happened to me....I got a used copy back in december

Natualy I dont play anymore now since the Crota Raid is bugged to fuck...but the urge to play that shit is real.
