Overwatch ranked is borked
Quit league
Pokemon doesn't come out for months
All the sweet E3 games don't come out until next year

Kill me or suggest good games

Why not try something far more simple that doesn't require as much deviation? All those games have some investment to them (minus Halo 5 I guess?).

Maybe try some Indie game, or some classic game. Someone named Final Fantasy (ignore Second Class on FF6 though, most old school fans think it's the best)

I think you're right that part of my problem is I'm drawn to games that require significant time investments and I don't have that much time to invest atm.

I feel ya. I find it hard to get into games I know I won't invest much time into. Probably why I find it hard to play Indie games and similar stuff...

Yeah games are getting boring for me too.

Halo and Overwatch are a 50/50 with certain people for me.

Fallout 4 was fun when I played it, but at its core, I still dont like Fallout

BF4 is really the only thing that gets me going, but even then, it only makes me want BF 1 more.

Guess its time to wack out the DS and actually play that FE:A while I wait for Nier

You're diving into arguably the most overrated (it's still good) Zelda game. Have fun.

I'd recommend Wind Waker after that since the story... somewhat plays into Ocarina, making it much more emotional.

I used to think the reason why I'm not into games like I used to be was simply because I was getting older, now I'm convinced that the gaming industry is fucked by corporatism and greed. The prime example being EA.

I wouldn't be surprised if what's left of the industry is consolidated into a few very large companies that just turn out the same old uninspired shit every year until all you're left with is just a bunch of mediocre cookie cutter games. It's already happening, I mean it only took like 12 Call of Duty games for people to finally realize that they were just releasing the same shit with a different skin and a few bells and whistles every year.

It's no wonder why people are turning to nostalgia and indie games.
