are you serious? TTYD is piss easy, the only tough boss in the whole game is Bonetail in the pit, and even then it's only because of it's metric fuck ton of HP and it's healing move.

Not even man. My 10 year old self was able to beat him no problem.

My ten-year-old self was able to die repeatedly then finally beat him after developing lightning-fast reflexes.

Then wonder why the final boss was basically a proto-QTE and so much easier.

But really, I've played through all three Souls games and most of the others listed in this thread, and not one of them ever gave me as much trouble as the fucking BioLizard. That's the go-to boss for when I think of annoyingly difficult battles.

A lot of the bosses on Darkest Dungeon are super hard.

I remember the first time I saw one. Had a relatively strong party going in, well equipped, had lots of gold. Figured I'd check one last room out before bailing with my loot.

Ran into the boss. Made everyone go insane on the first turn, then began to pick my party off every turn. Except this one sister of battle. She was on death's door and NEVER. FUCKING. DIED. Just took his hits like a champ!

She was ace. Too bad she eventually succumbed to blight that she got from the boss' little helper. Not even the damn boss himself killed her. Had to friggin' disease her to finish the job.

If we're actually counting it, Cynthia from Black and White 1 was really freaking hard.

That severe level jump after the Elite 4 was just massively difficult to get into, and beating Cynthia actually felt like a real victory for me that I struggled with. Really helped my opinion that she's the best champion in the series.

Yeah, Gen 5 Cynthia is the only Champion that has ever beaten me. Never played Gen 4 though so I can't say anything about how hard she was there like everyone else.
