I don't get why people are complaining. Other than having to have the dlc (which everyone who this is aimed for has) this is fine. Bungie day has hardly ever been exciting. You guys are just asshurt. Complaining about this emblem is like complaining about recon in h3. "You have to do all this shit just to get a stupid helmet. Dats all they did. Just a stupid helmet. No nutin."

I couldn't care less about Bungie as an entity now, but there are still a few old groups that make browsing the site worthwhile. The Community Carnage spent the whole day with game lobbies on Halo PC, 3 and Reach, as well as Marathon. In all, a pretty fun day imo.

I didn't really expect anything from Bungie aside from an announcement acknowledging the date.

Saw a thread from the actual community attempting to come together to play Destiny and Halo 3. DeeJ actually replied to the thread and said something like "We'll show a more appropriate representation of the day."

Like, what? Fucking asshole. Probably didn't mean to come off that way but he did anyway. They have literally no understanding of their real community. They only acknowledge the mindless drones that throw money at their scam of a game. So instead of rewarding their players, or actually playing with them in online matches while offering rewards (steaktaculars, anyone?), they're encouraging them to grind even more, just in case they haven't already grinded enough to get the emblem right away.

the raids on hard are not possible at level 20. You can't even attempt them and even if you could destiny completely gimps your character if your lower level than the raid. Just 2 levels below and half of the enemies will one shot you

Well the whole point is to do all of the noteworthy things in the game. Reaching level 20 is where you start using light levels.

Redundant, yeah. But regardless of that it's still one of several "milestones" Bungie wanted you to accomplish.
