Here is what was added in Halo 5's new update

Some things to notice: Kill ball added, as well as grid and other objects. Many Forge fixes. One brand new Arena map (not a remix!) and the assault version of BoN set at night. Halo 2 br added. over 50 new reqs overall. Also it has been discovered that an assault plate is hidden underneath the new Arena map's boundaries.

Reading those new forge objects spurred me into getting back on.
Ive got a use for those Haz-Mat suits and lockers, and those new grid sizes are really cool to have.
I really like the stuff 343 is doing in Forge. It's going to be the one thing keeping me on this game lord knows it's not the req system....I still don't have a single fucking DMR for god's sake.

Additionally, they added the ability to switch teams in-game, meaning that we know have Halo 2-style infection in the game.

I find it odd too, but I do wonder if it has to to with how you can't rotate the Mantis on a Z or Y axis.

Riptide looks cool, I'm not a fan of the weapon skins, however, I would love that new carbine.

Cant really say much about the assassinations and other maps.

Just walked around Riptide. It's Fathom, thematically, with an entirely different layout. It's basically a destroyed version of Fathom that washed up and filled with sand. It's asymmetric and smaller: they opened some hallways up, blocked others, added some terrain, and redid the middle.

Uhhh...I mean 343 lied, people died.

It doesn't matter. Something as simple as game modes should have been there day 1 and not 3 months later when most people have moved on.
