Have you ever played a game that made you feel like your thumbs are broken?

I swear that's exactly how Halo 5 feels to me. I've done everything I possibly can to alleviate it. Iv'e put my acceleration down to 2, and even dropped my sensitivity down to 4 but for the love of god I still cant land shots consistently in matchmaking.
Not that ive never been particularly good at any of the other Halo games, but for gods sake at least I could aim at least semi competently. Iv'e never felt like a fucking cripple while I played. I go back to MCC and font have this kind of issue on the other games.

Its been making me feel bad.

When it comes to Halo games I have a hard time aiming at things which are not standing still or moving straight at me. For Halo 5 I have the worst time aiming in that game and the sensitive for it is awkward. When I still played I have the sensitive to max and it still feels too slow for turning. Yes I know the higher up you are the worse you're aiming is, but even with it close to the minimum I still couldn't aim well. I don't know what 343 did but they either messed up or they listened to the tryhards.

tbh I need to play more often than I'd like to get good and stay good with a controller. Mouse and keyboard is easier and more comfortable than using 'the claw,' or some expensive, shoehorned paddles.

Titanfall's PC playerbase is around 500 whenever I'm online these days, but I'm determined to reach Gen 10. If I want to make it that far, I might need to migrate to Xbone, and I refuse to play that game with a controller.

I also don't actually have one of those adapter things yet >.> but I'd get it mainly for Titanfall.

Well, Titanfall was the game that made me decide I preferred mouse and keyboard. AFAIK there's a bunch of little parkour tricks that aren't possible with a controller.

But I wasn't around for the tournament days. From what I figure, the PC community's still a bit salty over that...
