I liked 'em. It was a cool way to show the immediate effects of what we did at the end without a cutscene.

A big boss fight with a smaller guardian would've been pretty cool, especially if they'd used both teams. I assume there's a big encounter just before the cutscene, though.

Does the game explain why the Domain is still intact? I thought it was common knowledge that it was destroyed with the activation of the array, which is what caused the Didact to be overtaken by the Gravemind while he was in stasis. It was of Precursor origin, and the rings destroy anything is...so, what am I missing? Also does the game explain how Cortana enters the Domain? If I had to guess, through the Composer at the end of 4, but if it isn't explained, people might be lost.
