So based on the leaks I've seen of Halo 5, here's just some random brainstorming about 6 which probably won't make much sense, but oh well:

End of Halo 5: "Cortana" controls the Guardians, has a bunch of AI on her side, and plans to unleash the Flood stored on a Halo Installation. It is really Gravemind/Flood/Prescursors that are pulling the strings.

Gravemind corrupted Cortana during the events of Halo 2 and 3. This was his plan all along, to gain access to the domain. It knows everything now. Also taking AIs away from organic beings to weaken them against the uncoming Flood attack, they will be less organized and it is a true test of their potential/intelligence.

Locke, Arbiter and Osiris fight off Flood attacks on the outer colonies, and eventually prepare for the defense of Earth. Arbiter becomes a powerful leader not only to the Sangheili, but has united all former Covenant races for this final stand. We see Covie and Human ships alike of all kinds forming massive blockades against Flood controlled ships.

While they hold of the Flood advance, MC and Blue Team are reached by Mendicant Bias somehow. Chief seeks him out. When he finally finds him, he accompanies Chief and Blue to Path Kethona (or some other Forerunner plant in another galaxy) There lies Bornstellar and the Librarian in statis, to be awoken when humanity is ready. MB tells Chief he has been thinking in solitude for 100,000 years for a solution to the Flood. 343 is also on the same planet as Librarian and Bornstellar and aids you. They tell you what you must do to achieve the Mantle, but it requires great sacrifice (also the crew of the Rubicon if they somehow survived) Chief and co travel to a far off planet.He enters the domain alone and gets separated from Blue Team and gains infinite knowledge. Then he confronts a Precursor who tells him the haunting truth about their origin/the creation of life. That's as far as I can go, can't think of what a solution to the Flood possibly could be.

But Halo 6 becomes a war between corrupted Cortana/Didact's essence also corrupted/Guardians/Flood vs UNSC and all sentient life working together. Chief dies at the end and so does Locke, lol. Possibly either side takes control of the Prometheans at one point (most likely Chief). And possibly there is some way to rid the galaxy of every Forerunner artifact in existence, but that would definitely not be beneficial to organic life. Or maybe it would. Humanity reclaims the Mantle by destroying everything the Forerunners ever made.

I'm hoping the day before this game comes out MS allows us to install it so that way we can play straight away on lunch day.

It's available to pre load now if you have digital. Otherwise, you have to install it on launch day then do a 9gb multiplayer download on day one. But you can play campaign while it's doing that so it's alright.

Why hasn't the title been changed to 6 days?

Has anyone who ordered CE or the CE xbox not gotten it? I ordered mine from the MS store, with it still saying release on the 27th and when I check now the product on the store says 20th. Anyone else had this problem or was MS just really fucking stupid just for me?
