According to the MCC it's my most played map which is funny because you'd rarely see that map back in Halo 3

Can't believe that Halo 3 is going to be the only one with an FFA playlist. What's so hard about having unranked FFA with all games included?

Edit: I want them to take out KoTH from BTB from all BTB playlists and I'll be happy, and have other Halo 2 maps show up for once instead of fucking District and Uplift all the time.

I never get to play district or uplift because the halo 3 cult will vote anything that has Halo 3, even if it's longshore slayer fifty times in a row.

I noticed this rather early into playing BTB and just stopped searching that playlist. Don't understand why nobody wants to play anything but H3.

I can't stand Standoff but I'll admit that Multi Flag CTF when both teams are good is intense and fun af

Personally i just feel that BTB maps that are predominantly infantry (Longshore and Complex) just don't work. They just turn into giant clusterfucks because there's nothing for teams to focus on (ie something like bringing down a tank or banshee or whatever). Even flags, hills and bombs just turn into BR, AR and grenade spam with no real kind of tactics. Those maps I mentioned are particulary bad for it (as opposed to say, High Ground or Last Resort) because there's no real flow to the maps.

Nearly all of Halo 3's maps are asymmetric so that could be the problem too. Maps like that are hard to balance because you don't want to make one side have a clear advantage over the other. Longshore for example on One Bomb/One Flag only has the Defense part of the map being used for the most part when other maps like Last Resort and High Ground have the entire maps being used with lots of different positions to control to gain map dominance.

Mostly infantry BTB maps can be good when designed right like Headlong and Terminal as those maps have a nice balance between infantry and vehicle combat.

My favorite example of how a BTB map should be made is Avalanche. Lots of vehicles with nice open areas, infantry combat varies throughout with lots of different ways to move around without a vehicle, and lots of power weapons to control.

I think your team gains points every time a Resupply happens. More bases you have, more points you get... at least that's what I noticed in a Dominion match I just played.

They're only doing it because they're doing XB1X 4K stuff so they were like "yeah may as well do this at the same time i guess".

In fairness though it's shaping up to genuinely be a good patch, they've been going pretty in depth into the development in the blog posts.

I think your team gains points every time a Resupply happens. More bases you have, more points you get... at least that's what I noticed in a Dominion match I just played.

Then why is it that you can win a game with 420 points with only 2 capture points

They're only doing it because they're doing XB1X 4K stuff so they were like "yeah may as well do this at the same time i guess".

In fairness though it's shaping up to genuinely be a good patch, they've been going pretty in depth into the development in the blog posts.

Throwing it on Game Pass is a good idea too, though if they want to put it on Games with Gold as well that'd be great
