Game wouldn't be able to handle it simply. In this case it was either 60fps or splitscreen.

This is actually pretty disappointing. I would have been fine if the FPS dropped to like 30 or something when split screening as I was looking forward to doing co op with a friend of mine.

Apparently the gameplay is tied to the frame rate, so that wouldn't work
