So they discovered Earth in 2551 and yet they wait until 2552 to invade Earth? The fuck?

>Gen 2 armor right before Battle of Earth.Permission to wat?
Damn, Linda's Armor looks fucking sweet.Look at all those heavy optics.Fred's Armor looks cool too, despite the fact that it's apparently based on the Halo 4 era Commando abomination.

I don't get it.

Their armor isn't Gen 2.
Yeah, it can look cool I agree, but in moderation and within the realm of reason. How it was done in Reach with some helmets was alright. However, replacing the standard visor with 2 optics, putting optics on the sides of the head and more optics on top of that is just plain fucking insane. Now, all that's been done is guaranteed that Linda can't look around outside of when she's using a smart-linked scope. Whoever in the art team thought it was a good design needs to be reevaluated.

VI armor variants for Linda, Fred, and Kelly in the short time between their arrival and the outbreak of the Battle of Earth? And Linda for some reason needed a suit with a shit-ton of useless optics on it?

At least its not as stupid looking as it could have looked.*Glares at 343 armor designers*EDIT: Fucking shit, I double posted >:O

VI has been in development for a while at that point given how many variants existed in 2552.
Remember when canon stated that all Spartans had identical armor?Pepperidge farm remembers.

Then we needed customization in MP, and suddenly now all Spartans must have their own personalized armor sets that reflect their personality. Because, that's totally how a real military functions.
