I've had a couple things like that happen to me at our gamestore, I bought a regular edition of borderlands but instead of giving me the regular disc they gave me the game of the year version disc, and another time I had bough metro 2033, but they actually gave me the last light disc.

This was a one off because I was walking past it and meant I could get the game straight away.
