well I knew it was a mimic since it was shaking so instead of opening it I tried walking behind it and killing it before it got a chance to attack me....As you an tell...standing behind it does not work

Yeah, the Dark Souls II Mimics are kinda retarded, how they can initiate the one hit kill chomping from almost any attack in any direction, instead of having a designated grapple chomping attack like in Dark Souls I
