When do you think Rockstar will officially release a teaser?

I think they will reveal something this November. Rockstar revealed GTA 5 for the first time out of nowhere in November 2011 so I'm thinking they'll do the same thing.

I would like to see something for GTA V's 10th Anniversary this week but chances are they'll just give out a new t-shirt and 1.05x job bonus or something.

Most likely that will be the case. It would be cool to see some type of big event in the game to celebrate the 10th anniversary.

Well... after years of speculating we're finally going to see a GTA 6 trailer in December.

I am looking forward to going back to Vice City, and I hope the story is more serious and goes back to an organized-crime type of story like the PS2 era.

GTA 5's story was just way too silly and over the top. It has great moments but I had no desire to replay it like I did with every GTA game prior.

We must accept that literally the entire team that used to make the classic GTAs like 3, VC, and SA have all been replaced at this point.

I'm just hoping it doesn't wind up like the new Saints Row.

After what they did with the GTA trilogy release, my excitement for GTA 6 is minimal.

Yeah, but that is still a problem for a company with basically infinite money to:

1) outsource a project to the lowest bidder
2) Look at the 'finished' product and ship it anyway in the state that it was in
3) Publicly state that they did not know of the issues
4) Not dispatch an in-house team to fix it ASAP (it still not fixed from what I gather)

If it was EA or Ubi, I wouldn't be surprised. But for a company who always cared about details to do this to their own games... Very disappointing.

December 5th is the date.

Fully expected to see a remix of Vice City's theme with some cop sirens in the background followed by a GTA 6 logo then bam, we get hit with that "Coming 2027" text

i think it's kinda funny that they had an announcement date... for a trailer. just drop the trailer

im not into gta but this has definitely been a long time coming. gta v came out when i was just starting high school, now im in my mid 20s

Normally they have an announcement trailer for a teaser trailer for a trailer trailer which is teasing a ten minute gameplay demo which will then announce the release date during.

This map picture was leaked a while back and I guess its safe to say that this will be GTA 6's map. There's a few places in the trailer that are mentioned that are on this map.

If not fake and gay then I'm a bit disappointed it's just a big island.  RDRII did a good job of having boundaries to show there's more to the continent off the edge of the map.  Having just a full on island feels weird for Not-Florida in the current gen.

Should be interesting since I never got into GTA until SA, so I never saw Vice City.

A lot of the old leak material is getting spammed up everywhere, which I imagine is pissing off Rockstar since the game is probably a bit more done since then if the trailer is anything to go by.

The funniest thing about this Dunkey video is that just days later, the actual trailer for GTA 6 released. It's like Dunkey forced Rockstar to finally release the trailer lmao
