Got a problem

So I'm trying to clear Quarry Junction from Deathclaws.

Problem is that...they are impossible to defeat. There I am with my fully repaired T51b power armor and my minigun prepared to raise hell (The Enclave power armor in inventory just in case) and I have Boone, equipped with another mint T51b to back me up.

But even the mightiest of people in the Mojave can't clean this freaking area! This is so freaking hard! Any suggestions?

OP, if you're a guns character go to the gun runners and get a good semi auto rifle.
Or some AP bullets for your Minigun. Use psycho and med-x.

Deathclaws have 15 DT so unless your using ap ammo the minigun won't do shit.

The gun runners usually sell it, if not the BoS may have one for sale.

Just go slow and steady, have a lot of stimpacks, and use some ranged weaponry too. I found a gauss rifle particularly effective, because it can knock a deathclaw off its feet. Makes it harder for them to run at you.

Also, aim for the legs. Again, the whole, running at you thing.
