Genres you suck at?

Which genres do you typically struggle with?

For me it would be bullet-hells and fighting games. While I've never played any MOBAs I know that I would get roflstomped if I tried.

Puzzle games I guess, I just find them tedious.
MOBAs I don't even bother with, not my cup of tea at all.

I doubt I'm very good at fighting games, but my favoured tactics seem to let me beat my friend who is quite into them time and time again.

I made a gandhi knockoff for soul calibre and spent the entirety of each round not fighting him and just evading. Then when he'd bullrush me I'd do a throw animation and launch him out of the ring.
That was easily the worst/best perfection I ever pulled off.

I'm worse in mortal kombat too, I literally just pick the cheapest and most annoying move and spam it relentlessly.
You can only block so many times before you make a mistake and the sidekick lizardman chain begins.
Or the noob tbag/teleport rapetrain leaves the station.

I'm terrible at fighting games, I just can't coordinate my button mashing at all, and forget MOBAs, I lost against the AI

Also even though strategy is one of my favourite genres, it's also one I'm terrible at

I'm rather poor at fighters. Probably because I don't play them.

Strategy is tricky for me, because I don't play like most folks do. I like base building which catches me with my pants down.

Fighting games

I tried and tried to understand them but I just can't. I mash buttons to the point where the controller almost breaks.

I have a special passionately hated spot for fighting games that have 'ranged' attacks.

I played one and this guy just kept me from getting to him by summoning a spike out of the ground, which would stun me. He spammed this for an entire round. My HP hit 0 - win. After that I just quit. How the fuck is it a fighting game where you don't even have to be close to your opponent to hit them?

For as much as I like fighting games, I'm really not that great at them. I think it's just how infrequently I'll play one though... you gotta spend time on those to get the combos in your head.

Bullethell and Fighting games.

I don't have the coordination or speed to keep up with what's going on, and by the time I can manage to get into a groove of what's going on things shift and suddenly I'm fucking dead.
