I've gotten 100% completion in games before, but I've never gotten a Platinum trophy. I've come close, though.

All I need to do is collect a million bolts in the original R&C, and I'll get Platinum. Just never got around to it.

I dunno why but I expected you to be someone who hates trophy hunting. I've seen people hate on it.

Huh? I actually fully support trophy hunting. Trophies are a nice way to give the player the incentive to explore every inch of the game, and that's all well and good with me.

I mean, I wouldn't revolve your life around it, but I see nothing wrong with it.

Good good, it's nice to see people who actually like it for a change.

What do you think about going out of your way to do menial tasks to earn trophies though? My last few Bully trophies were incredibly tedious, just to fill out that bar.

Eh, trophies like that are kinda bullshit. Like, the million bolts trophy in R&C is stupid, because there's absolutely nothing you can purchase in the game that comes even close to a million bolts (the most expensive weapon in the game is the RYNO, which is 150K bolts). So it's just a waste of time.

Those trophies are kinda lame, so I personally wouldn't recommend going out of your way to do them. I'd just play the game and try to let it occur naturally, so it doesn't feel like such a slog.

I 100% San Andreas on my PS2 before my file got corrupted.

I almost got the Platinums for LittleBigPlanet and R&C: A Crack in Time as well, but a corrupted hard drive prevented me.
