Also has anyone actually finished alien isolation? I keep getting fucked in the same spot but I don't want to drop the difficulty.

Vampire rain, fallout 4, skyrim, morrowind.

Impossible to beat, side missions, side missions, game breaking bug.

Majora's Mask, I'm stuck at the start because it's extremely unhelpful navigationally and I don't want to ruin something by using a walkthrough like I did with OoT.

Yoshi's Island, I've been doing a run since '13 and now whenever I feel like playing it I end up just playing Banjo-Tooie or Melee instead.

Mario Kart 8: I have like 300 coins to go before I unlock everything and the AI's RNG bullshit gave me chronic cancer.

It's only Ryse that's sat on the shelf unfinished

DA:I I didn't start the story on because eeeeeh, the MP was fun though.
Dynasty Warriors too I guess, I completed DW8 fully on the PS4 and since then I haven't really been inclined to play another one fully.

Last gen was terrible though
I had about 8 games that I'd played a few hours of and left to play more BF3 :<

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Lost interest.

Watch Dogs - Got caught up in side missions before beating the second Chapter of the main story, and the quality of that story wasn't enough to satisfy my boredom with the game.

Ocarina of Time - Went to the future after several hours of gameplay, where my friend tripped over my controller cable and uplugged it, resulting in a loss of all my progress (about 6 hours worth). Couldn't be bothered to finish because I wasn't really enjoying myself to begin with.

Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire - Least favourite generation paired with the easy-mode difficulty made me lose interest fast.

Dark Souls 2 - Shitty button delay and unfair difficulty curve.

I don't think I ever finished Prototype or Darksiders, but I hadn't bought them, my brother did, so whatever.
I'm unironically lost in the water temple of OoT in the 3DS remake and I've never played the original on n64 so...
South Park the Stick of Truth I got stuck on the alien boss for a bit and just never picked the game back up after that. It's not like I ragequit, I even said I'd try again a little later, but I just never bothered to. Maybe one day.
Up untill last night I could say that I never finished a campaign of Hearts of Iron IV, but I just hit the 1950 endgame for the first time.

Oh, and I forget if I've ever finished the main quest line of Skyrimjob.

if you think the base game had an unfair difficulty curve you don't want to see the DLC

i'm at the end of the second dlc right now and so far most of the DLC bosses have just been a conglomeration of shitty design decisions that just make for an unfun experience while simultaneously boasting about how good it is because it's difficult

You should invest in Dynasty Warriors 7. The story is the best they've ever done and sticks to history without doing silly shit. The cutscenes are actually good too. They actually made important character deaths sad, rather than comical.
