Game fatigue...

Basically feeling a been there, done that. Halo? Been playing it for 13 years. Only so much of the MCC I can play before I get bored, plus the old group of friends no longer plays. Far Cry 4? I'm almost done with it and lost interest. Tired of FPS in general. I feel like I'll never be exited for a game as I was for Halo 2 and 3. Anyone else feel this way? I want to get a Wii U but don't feel like shelling out the $300.

I felt like that for a good while and then I found new people to play with or talk about games with and its much better

Also the Xbox one has no games to be fatigued of

I've been like that for awhile. Then I played Skyrim when it came out on a hunch which was also my first RPG (not a very good one I know) Now I'm widely addicted to the genre. Sometimes you need a 'breakthrough game' to get interested in other stuff.

I felt like this aswell but then I started playing solo games after my gold subscription cancelled. I spent so much time playing Halo that I never really played other games so literally a couple weeks ago I played through the mass effect trilogy. It was fucking awesome.

Have Mordor, wouldn't be into Dragon Age. Plus I need to watch what I spend. Since the X1 came out I probably spent over $1,000 on the system plus games.

The souls series are technically weeb games. Some of the best games every year are jrpgs. But muh stigma.

I have way too many games to feel as tired of them as I usually am. Right now Bloodborne has my attention, but that's just because it's a new game and I just got my PS4 a couple of weeks ago.

This is part of why I'm a "retro-gamer". Consoles are cheap and easy to find, and even if they stop working, you can get refurbished top-loaders that work just fine on top of being reasonably priced, and, of course, the games are fucking amazing. And timeless. Unlike practically any game made after 2004-2005.
