I have a lot of shorter games I'm rotating through right now, trying to get some completions under my belt before I jump into something more taxing. While I find the time limit mechanic to be a novel idea to incentivize players to action, it also frustrates me for those same reasons. It's not really a criticism or anything, it's just a personal barrier to truly getting into the gameplay loop for any longer period of time.

NES:-Castlevania (seems like a good entry to speed running, only real tech is damage boosting)

If I get Mickey's Speedway USA next time around
Quote from: Verbatim on June 29, 2020, 12:38:41 PMIf I get Mickey's Speedway USA next time aroundyou knowI feel like I have this somewhere in my housecartridge only but like...
They also had AeroGauge, Mickey's Speedway USA, Mike Piazza's Strike Zone, MRC: Multi-Racing Championship, Off Road Challenge, Ridge Racer 64, Rugrats: Scavenger Hunt, and Wheel of Fortune, but I had to pass these up for now, since I was going over-budget and didn't wanna starve today. Had I caved in, though, I'd officially have over 50% of the N64 library.

do you play all the games you collect? or just have them for the sake of having them
Nothing spectacular, but I do have every single Madden on the system now, so... There's that. They also had Resident Evil 2, Starcraft, and WWF No Mercy on display, but they were asking a bit too much for those, and I was already going way over budget. Had I bought No Mercy, I would have every single wrestling game for the system. Looking back, I kinda wish I had just bought it, but whatever. Maybe it'll still be there the next time I visit.
