It does, but I'm not a fan of the dialogue scenes at all. This Witcher-esque kind of stuff where he gives a cringey speech every time you select a dialogue option is really off-putting.

Besides, given that you can also change whether your conversations are in 3rd or 1st person you migbt be able to chanve whether or not you can hear the player character.
