Apparently you can get banned for targeting a specific player.

Which is just a little bit silly.

I can understand the 10 min penalty if it was a ranked game, but for a unranked it's stupid

That penalty is beyond unreasonable considering matches with input lag and bad connection are a thing.

you actually got penalized for it in melee, too, because it's considered "bullying"

you lost 2000 points for it or some shit (not that anyone cared about the score, but)

the ones that are like, "KO Master: 7000 points" or whatever

there were a few of them that actually took away points, like if you whiffed a grab, that's "Butterfingers: -500 points"
there was one that was called "Bully", and you'd lose 2000 points for it, if you targeted one specific player for too long

Happened to me on the 3DS version. This just happened to me again on the Wii U and I wast tempted to quit, but the Falcon I was facing was trying to show off and spike me and I rekt him with PK Thunder. There was still 2 seconds of input lag that whole match.
