See, that's why I dislike people who follow religions. They think that the thoughtless good deed is better than what I'm doing right now. What I'm doing is bringing someone else who brought up the fact that they have a free code into the limelight, but also thinking about my future. I currently don't have Dark Souls 1 available to play right off the bat, but I don't intend on using my code so that I can play it, since I've already beat it. Then there's the fact that if I were to sell the game to a friend in the future the value would rise if I had the code with the game.

If True has the game, but also a code for the game, but doesn't intend on using the code, then there's all the reason to give the code away in his situation. So not only does True get to do a good deed that costs him practically nothing, and not only would that strengthen the recipient and True's relationship a little, but I get to have a potential valuable.

Thoughtless good deeds are braindead and cause less happiness in most cases where a thoughtful good deed could've happened. I'm superior to god if god thinks the opposite
