He plays young Magneto in the X-Men movies. He was also briefly in Inglorious Basterds.

It's an original story with a Spanish protagonist, with original characters being added to the universe. Fassbender plays the modern character and the ancestor.

Looks like they photoshopped it way too much. I'll still see it out of curiosity if nothing else. Also the fact that they are doing an original story instead of adapting one of the games is the best choice they could make. The plot of the games don't flow at all like a movie and would have to be heavily altered anyway.

That's a good thing. This gives the director more freedom to work with as apposed to trying to convey events from the game in an exciting story that's at least on par for film.
