Far Cry's map editor is wasted

It's a shame really. I've been playing around with the FC4 editor, and I do think it's a shame they give an amazing editor to a game that no one plays (Multiplayer, obviosly).

I love using the outpost mode to create custom bases to sneak around and take over. Though nothing beats the elephant-machinegun charge.

So yeah. Far Cry. I've got back into it lately, and I love it.

I just wish it had a survival mode. a game so focused around survival and hunting seems odd without having to eat/ drink.

tbh im kinda burnt out on open world games. Without multiplayer they're really boring

MGS5 is the apex of the current open-world format for non-fantasy/sci-fi rpgs like The Witcher and Fallout, if the next Far Cry honed in on the theme of survival and quadrupled down on grittiness and those (usually drug-induced) surreal moments that'd help

I made a WW2 trench in a heavy storm at night, and I think it had sharks. Never actually got to test it out properly though, it was a good editor

It came out a year ago, and still has active content creators. Not many games can keep a consistent number of players, especially when they're not+ cookie-cutter arena shooters like CoD, Halo, or Destiny.

FC4 is pretty boring tbh.
Just FC3 with even more of the shit Ubisoft open-world design rammed in it so it doesn't seem empty.
