Fallout 4 news - Play after the main story (No broken steel) and no level cap

Just a bit of news that bethesda announced on their twitter feed, which is nice to know. So there is no need for a broken steel DLC and there is no disappointment when they release DLC for the game that doesn't do a broken steel (FNV) so yey, you can just keep on playing as you wish rather than having to make a save etc.

You guys can get that from the title anyway but bleh.

Also no level cap, that's the more interesting part because I wonder how they are going to integrate that <.<

For the part about playing after the main story I hope our actions makes a difference otherwise the story and whatever else we do is just pointless like in Fallout 3 and Skyrim.

Never really bothered me, being able to play after the main story, since I usually leave that till last and then I'm done on the character anyway. But having no level cap seems kinda weird.

Good. On Fallout 3 the base 20 level-cap was sorta annoying, while on FNV I've yet to reach the added DLC cap of 50.

Plus, depending on how the perks turn out for FO4 I may actually discover some ones I'd normally never use because of the cap and other more advantageous ones available, i.e. Rad Resistance - essentially useless once you have a steady supply of Rad-X/Rad-Away, or Comprehension/XP based perks which were considered a wasted perk with a level cap on whereas now they could help when the XP between levels become monumentous.
