Fallout 3 vs Fallout: New Vegas

What are your views on Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas? Some people only seem to like one or the other.

Personally, I think both games are great. NV is a little bit closer to the original Fallout games, though, but quite a few things in the game are reskins from F3.

New Vegas was a better Fallout game compared to the loltasticly stupid lore for F3, but the rush job really hurt new Vegas. Would have loved to see the Brotherhood chapter that was behind Caesar lines and fighting a holding action in order for the scribes to withdraw. Or the Legion's lands of autonomous settlements. Or the many companions that were cut.

I always mod Bethesda PC games beyond recognition and I only have Fallout 3 for console, so I can't give a balanced opinion. My modded FNV is my favorite game though, and as for F3 all I can say is that Bethesda is good at world building but really needs to work on their story writing.

Both.

Fallout 3 had a lot of that post-apocalyptic feel to it and New Vegas had that Mad Max feel to it.
