I would definitely buy a flight stick for this game. Using a Xbox controller sucks because there's simply not enough buttons for all the actions. I have to use my keyboard for landing gear, which sucks.

for the time being you could also have button combinations to shift the controller into a different set of commands

reminds me of when i played eve, only when two player piloted capital ships finished duking it out my buddies and i would swoop in to strip the wreck of anything useful and salvage components from its drifting husk

It would've been cool for combat to have been more viable for a career, or at least more varied. As it stands now it's just flying in a circle until you can point and click enemies to death.

High-stakes smuggling was actually pretty damn fun though, and I wish there was some combat built into that field rather than just immediately losing your money after a scan--like an option to fight the security ships, or something.

they upped the ante of the ai for engineers, its a lot more tricky now, anything higher rank than you, should probably look out for

they will have better ships with better gear

When did this happen? With a modestly tricked-out python I dominated just about anyone 1v1, and sometimes 1v2. I might just have to go back to the game since NMS didn't turn out the way I hoped.

i then only had enough for 2 rebuys and luckily my clipper was docked there so i could fly to my conda and trade enough so i could afford to fly it again

then i outfitted the clipper i had there and now i can only afford to fly the clipper
