I still dont get the Cyberpunk hype.

It's a CD Project Red game that is in development for 7 years and polish people that like to polish polished it everywhere. While gameplay concept wise it's nothing new since it's in development from 2012, in a time where you get all those halfbaked games like Anthem and Titanfall 3 Apex Legends, people probably get hyped because amount of time spent on polish and rather good reputation of CD Project Red promises them game to be good. Also, muh cyberpunk.

I liked what they showed on trailers last year, but when I think about how much (or rather how little) time some developers spent on making their games, it does raise questions what CD Project Red were doing for so long with this game. Also fact that they kept development closed until last year also bothers me a bit.

The quiet time in development better have been spent on details for systems and world. At a surface level it looks like a more punk than cyber FPS.

The 4chinchin meme of it looking like a future GTA is not far off. And the sun exists obviously but when you show off  a relatively flat and small cyberpunk city with screenshots of flat rural areas in sunlight it doesnt look CYBER.

Apples and oranges i guess. Deus Ex remains uncontested.

im interested in what they do with botw's sequel

i feel like it's gonna get the majora's mask treatment. just build off on the previous game

i totally understand if they do, im sure they spent years working on botw's engine and world and stuff

Majora's mask was the best Zelda so I don't mind this route.

I'm a bit confused on Zelda. So was Gannon's body there the whole time under the castle? Did he just give up his body to assume the Calamity Gannon form?
