Quote from: Kakashi597 on June 13, 2017, 01:27:17 PMFire Emblem Warriors will probably be the first FE game I get unless I buy one for my LA trip. I hope they allow you to change the voice acting to a different language because if BOTW is any indication, I don't need that negativity in my life.Pokken looks solid still, but a core RPG Pokémon game is a system seller. I can't wait to hear more. I'm still hoping it's a multi-regional new story based on previous regions (like Sinnoh *hint*).Metroid Prime 4 is cool. Definitely keeping my eye on that.Rocket League will be a lot more addictive now that I can play it anywhere. I always felt it worked better in smaller bursts, and the portability of the Switch lends itself to that.Everything else was solid enough, but nothing too mind-blowing.8/10 conference for Nintendo. I would have liked to have seen some more 3rd party title announcements, like Final Fantasy XV, Dark Souls (3), and a release date for some already announced games like DBXV2. Plus, an announcement of a restock for the Switch would have been appreciated, I don't feel like paying some greaseball $600.00 for one on Amazon.Did you miss Metroid Samus Returns

isnt it a lot like castlevania?
the company doesn't care
Oh I see. It's the "it's not a game it's a movie" argument. Fair enough. Some like it, some don't, it's a bit of a stretch to call it that. Point and click adventure games which have been around forever give you even less control.

Point and click adventure games which have been around forever give you even less control.who are you talking towhat are you talking aboutYour response to me about God of War.that wasn't the argument he was making at all thoughthe key points in his rant were- god of war is a dated benchmark franchise that was good and innovative ONLY in its era- more god of war games do not need to be made after 3 because it's stale and unimpressive now- the only way to make a new god of war would be to steal ideas from another successful franchise- they did exactly that by using the Last of Us as a model, and the IP suffers as a resultit won't suffer in terms of sales figures but the game looks just as dull as Days Gone if not dullerit has nothing to do with it being more cinematic, even though that is a negative aspect
Well, I'm looking forward to it. But that's just me. Sony Santa Monica is a good group. They know what they're doing. Though I would have much rather seen their new IP than a new God of War. Unfortunately it was cancelled.

Unfortunately it was cancelled.the kid also looks extremely annoying and i don't understand how kratos is gonna put up with his shitalso the jump into norse mythology is just weird—i'm no lore expert on this series, but where were the norse gods up until this point? why was there such a big spit about kratos having killed ALL the gods, when he apparently didn't, because every god from every existing mythology ALSO exists in the god of war universe?the milking of the cash cow just seems too blatant to me
basedIt completely slipped my mind that Insomniac was working on this game.

It would suck to make a piece of art only for people to piss all over it. It's an insult. Just because other companies don't care doesn't mean that I can't for them. That's the thing about games, they're not static art like a painting is. They can change and improve, that's where modding comes in.

Quote from: Luciana on June 12, 2017, 09:22:51 PMThe issue, as pointed out by a FRIEND, is that everything seems to be crossing into different genres of gaming. Games that aren't supposed to be an RPG have RPG elements, games that aren't usually open world are becoming open world and doing it poorly. And now loot is the new craze.Everything just feels the fucking SAME.yeah i had the same thoughteverything is very samey right now, and it sucksat least this gives me more time to play some vintage games

Didn't Germany ban depictions of swastikas? They might just be trying not to get the game banned in Germany
when you use mods, there's a sense of untainted purity that you just lose forever

Germany's always been like that and CoD's had Swastika's in the past. World at War doing it last, which I think is arguably one of the better WW2 games in capturing the brutality of the war (and the Soviets)
