who picked up xenoverse? what are your thoughts? im still really new to the game. im levelling a Frieza race named Frigid, heh. so far its really fun; i cant wait to unlock all the characters and online functionality

I've heard the servers are shit so you can't play online.

you can do online ranked and unranked 1v1s/2v2s/3v3s no problem. im not sure about the multiplayer realm or world tournament modes or anything because a lot of content is locked until youve beaten the story mode

Waiting for a price drop. DBZ games seem to rollercoaster in terms of quality from game to game...

id say this one is actually really good. the combat is a little finicky but you get used to it and the game is very pretty. they did a good job with the full 3D maps, really feels like a massive DBZ battlefield. the most exciting thing about it is scaling difficulty- im constantly challenged mechanically and intellectually as i progress, and i can feel myself getting better and better all the time, even if i fail a mission.

the character customization is somewhat more limited than the hype made it seem but characters still feel very unique, especially with the custom movesets. the fighting roster is pretty small too, but there are enough fighters to make the pvp experience pretty diverse.

i gotta give it an 8/10 so far. very pleased. but, i havent played any other dragon ball games before, so take what i say with a grain of salt.
